Electronic systems
Imagine that you have lost a key and don't have to immediately replace the entire cylinder or - in the case of a general key - the entire keying system, but only reprogram the electronics. This saves a lot of time and trouble, and also costs far less.
If a transponder is lost, it is simply rendered harmless by reprogramming, and a "spare key" is quickly provided in the form of a new transponder.
This is just one of the revolutionary advantages of electronic keying systems. You can also define who can open doors at which time, build an individual locking hierarchy by means of programming, and much more. See for yourself!
